• When I start the PClapper why do I get the error: The application failed to initialize?
  • that means that you do not have the .Net framework installed. Please download install this from Microsoft at this link.
• Why is the PClapper is not recognizing my claps?
  • There are many things that can go wrong here, but the basic idea is that if there is a DEFAULT microphone in windows and your levels are pretty normal, you should be able to get PClapper to work. Here's some things to try
    
    • Make sure you have clicked the "Listen" button on PClapper
    • Make sure you can record and playback sound in the "Sound Recorder" application at Start->Program Files->Accessories->Entertainment->Sound Recorder
    • Make sure your microphone is default by playing with the settings in Start->Control Panel->Sounds and Audio Devices. Try upping the microphone levels, switching drivers, anything you feel comfortable doing.
